The flat
It takes some time to finish settling into the flat, but Caprica Six is pleased with it. A good kitchen, reception area, and dining space are downstairs, and upstairs she has her bedroom with a bathroom across the hall. Thankfully it came furnished already, so she didn't have to worry about that. Touches of it remind her of the place that Gaius had back on Caprica: open plan, floor-to-ceiling windows, wood floors, the particular style of the staircase and bed. It's not a match, of course, but it reminds her somewhat of their times there. The times before she died protecting him from the nuclear blast.
She doesn't see a need to personalize it with physical furnishings and decorations; mentally, she has already added further familiar touches. The flat is not as close to the water as she would've liked, but she can see the ocean through the wall of windows.
Just in case, she has some construction people come in to add another wall to the dining area. It mimicks the curve of the windowed wall, and is fitted with mirrors to further bounce the light, making it look like the room was designed that way. It's a struggle to get the sliding mirror properly installed and camoflagued, but she's pleased with it when it's finished. Behind it, she has a small space where she can sit and access the 'internet' network. With supplies from the Heavy Raider, she installs a light panel she can interface with so she won't have to cut her hand again.
"Now you just need some of those charming red lights running through the walls," the other Gaius says to her with a mocking smile. "Maybe find yourself a new Centurion doorman. Then you'll be right at home."
She knew he'd have some words for her about the flat. She doesn't mind it. This should work out very well for her, even with him teasing her.
